A language-rich learning environment is created to develop students’ interest and build up their confidence in learning English.
Aims
To provide opportunities for students to acquire, develop, and become proficient in the English language through listening, speaking, reading and writing.
To provide every student a second language with further opportunities for extending their knowledge and experience of the cultures of other people as well as opportunities for personal and intellectual development, further studies, pleasure and work in the English medium.
Special features of our English Curriculum
We encourage vocabulary learning with our Wordbank.
We have a school-based reading curriculum for P.1-P.3 students in collaboration with the NET (Native English Teacher) and a classroom assistant.
We have put positive elements to the syllabus in P.2 and P.4.
Storybooks were integrated into P.1-P.3 English lessons. Tailor-made booklets were designed for students to show their creativity in different tasks and challenges.
